About JOPECOTRA
JOPECOTRA is a Community-Based Organization (CBO), registered and operating in Kenya. The organization's mandate is to promote the holistic empowerment of the people in Kenya by offers services aimed at strengthening both Communities, individual and organizational capacity towards achieving their set goals.
JOPECOTRA is authorized by Ministry of Education as Peer Counselling trainers for teachers and student in the Republic of Kenya. This enhances partnership corporate and NGO's on emerging challenges which includes specials groups.
CORE OBJECTIVES FOR JOPECOTRA' ESTABLISHMENT
- To promote inter and intra generational equity in development.
- To promote and enhance healthy staffs through healthy eating habits, exercise and stress free work environment.
- To initiate personal behavior change culture among that is inclusive to all by focusing on people living with
disability as an interest group.
- To partner with likeminded organizations in creating informative forums that is inclusive of all in reproductive
information.
- To promote adoption of entrepreneurial culture in the communities focusing the young women living disabilities.
- To promote environmental ethos among people living with disability, young people on
electronic use in passing health information more especially to the deaf community.
- To develop an understanding on career choice and opportunity trends.
- To offer basic skills on self leadership, entrepreneurship information with a view to avert risky behaviors and
thereby stay healthy.
CAPACITY STATEMENT
JOPECOTRA has significant experience in training and facilitation on organizational
development and well being of staff, project planning focusing community, leadership training and development for young person; and development for social change programs through provision of soft skills.
The organisation is professionally managed by a team of qualified and competent personnel
who have accumulated a wealth of experience as practitioners and consultants in private,
public and non-profit organizations.We retain a portfolio of highly skilled and trained facilitators and resource persons who
conduct interactive, participatory and innovative forums for optimal satisfaction of the client's
needs and expectations.
